Zoo Outreach Organization Visits Paryavaran Chetna Kendra Sahoo, Collaboration Planned for Future Initiatives
Sahoo (Chamba) — A team of 11 members led by Mr. Sanjay Molur, Executive Director of Zoo Outreach Organization, a renowned NGO working in wildlife conservation since 1985, visited Paryavaran Chetna Kendra, Sahoo today.
On this occasion, the team met the founder of the center, Mr. Ratan Chand Sharma, and gathered detailed information about the work being carried out in the fields of environmental protection, awareness, and social welfare.
The visiting team appreciated the efforts of the center and expressed their interest in collaborating in the future on various initiatives related to environmental awareness, wildlife conservation, human-wildlife conflict mitigation, and social welfare. This collaboration is seen as a positive and inspiring step for the region.
During the interaction, Mr. Ratan Chand Sharma shared his views on the importance of environmental conservation, emphasizing that protecting nature and biodiversity is a collective responsibility in the present time. He also stressed the need to increase public participation at the grassroots level and to raise awareness among the youth.
Several respected members from Sahoo village were also present on the occasion, including Hem Singh, Ravinder Thakur, Jayram Thakur, Sanju, Pawan, Hiten, Vinod Thakur, and Gajinder Verma.
It is noteworthy that Zoo Outreach Organization publishes “Zoo’s Print” and the “Journal of Threatened Taxa,” which have made significant contributions to wildlife conservation. Such collaborations are expected to provide a new direction to environmental protection activities in the region.
